Join the Council on Saturday June 9th at Bear Lake Regional Park in Spokane County for the 1st annual district fishing derby. As part of the Council’s spring Hooked on Scouting campaign this event is open to cub scouts and their friends. Bait will be provided, and a limited number of fishing poles will be available. The weight in dates for the Pinewood Derby will be Tuesday March 6th and Wednesday March 7th from 6:00PM to 7:30pm. Our Pinewood Derby is schedule for Thursday March 8th at 6:00PM. There is no school on Friday the 9th. The weigh-ins dates will soon be emailed and posted. Keep planning on having those cars done soon. There will be a concession stand with a healthy snack. It is at Camp Cowles on Diamond Lake. We have the lodge reserved, which is a nice big building with complete cooking facilities, bathrooms with showers, and lots of tables for playing games.
